The clip, shared on Birdman’s account, shows the couple sitting together casually in a car, both wearing sunglasses and matching jackets. Birdman captioned the post with his signature “GCODE” and Rich Gang references, while Braxton’s sister Tamar quickly celebrated the moment in the comments.
The video marks a significant shift in how the couple has handled their public presence. According to Essence, the footage provides one of the clearest recent glimpses of the famously private pair together, particularly notable given that they had not been publicly seen as a couple since 2023, when Braxton briefly shared and then deleted an Instagram photo of them kissing.
Their relationship has weathered considerable public scrutiny over the years. The two began dating in 2016, announced their engagement in 2018, briefly split in 2019, and quietly married on August 8, 2024. Court filings revealed that Braxton filed for divorce just weeks after the wedding, listing August 10, 2024, as their separation date. However, she eventually dismissed the petition, and Birdman agreed to the dismissal, keeping them legally married.
Braxton has spoken warmly about their bond in recent interviews.
