The national carnival body reports its highest-ever early masquerader sign-up.
Trinidad Carnival 2027 has launched with the highest early masquerader registration on record, according to an official statement from the national carnival body.
Two mas bands corroborated strong early demand, with one band leader describing sign-ups that far outpaced the previous year — a claim attributed to the band rather than independently confirmed.
Organizers say the early momentum points to a strong season for the region’s largest cultural festival.
